$500 – National Dues
Regular members must be licensed to practice allopathic or osteopathic medicine in the United States.
$250 – National Dues
Early Career Physician members are physicians in their first two years after completing an accredited residency or fellowship program or in their first two years of practicing Addiction Medicine as a significant portion of their practice.
$260 – National Dues
The Associate Member category is open to individuals who teach, conduct research or provide clinical care for individuals who are at risk for, or have a substance use disorder. Associate members must have a degree in one of the eligible professions.
$40 – National Dues
Resident Members shall be members who are interns, residents, or fellows. Resident members shall have a valid medical license in localities where that is required or an equivalent certifying document. Resident membership is limited to a maximum of 5 years while in training.
$0 – National Dues
Student members must be enrolled and in good standing in formally accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical schools. Students must submit proof of student status at an accredited allopathic or osteopathic medical school. Student membership is complimentary.
$150 – National Dues
Retired members are those member who are 65 years of age or older and are no longer practicing medicine, or are disabled. Retired members may vote in Society elections, but may not hold elected national office. Retired members may be voting members of, but not chair committees.
